World of Warcraft developer has suspended 18,000 user accounts over the last three months.

Why? Because they created controversy? They made the game more interesting? They didn't abide by the pathetic rules and they rebelled against the system and corrupted the in-game economy?

Of course it's not. Blizzard HATES cheaters, so they ban them. Only way to have a problem with that is to be a cheater.

cheating shouldn't be in anyones vocabulary if your a ONLINE gamer. These guys sucked if they needed the extra help.

I thought the epitome of online gaming was cheating. And the second most common affair about online gaming was people complaing about cheaters that may or may not actually exist. People play online to screw or get screwed. Fun playing with others for the sake of fun? Don't make me laugh. *giggles*

Well when I play Rainbow Six Raven Shield online... I really do play for fun, cuz I have friends who play.

Yeah I used to play CS with friends at college. But with strangers one always seems to run into "cheaters." In quotes because people bitch if someone has developed a skill they themselves do not know how to do. Fighting always ensues. Actual cheaters make games defunnatured though.....it's a word.

Well they have over 5 million subscribers now so what's 18,000 to them.
