Sounds like an alternate telling of the first game.

I highly doubt thats the final cut (the stills)... but I don't see myself getting scared at a film this colorful... if the final cut blands the colors and cuts the lighting down... then maybe...

I highly doubt thats the final cut (the stills)...

It's not, they're production stills (probably not even taken from the actual footage, but rather a still camera) that are nice and clean for the purpose of, among other things, being used to make a poster...

The lighting will get edited in post... I mean, they have them walking around with flashlights in those scenes, despite it being bright enough for them to see perfectly well :>

But yeah... *cough* (http://www.gametavern.net/forums/showthread.php?t=13868)

Ah, and Blacklotus emerges from out of the mysterious shadows of mystery and her mysterious connection with Neo to enlighten us all with her decidedly untrue facts about Silent Hill.

Do not judge lest ye be judged. The details that I have come across about Silent Hill - the movie, obviuosly aren't in finality, therefore if they're fact or fiction that's for you to decide. My mysterious connection with Neo will remain that- a mysterious connection. Thus into the darkness I return.

Le Pacte Des Loups!

Exactly :>

This project actually has some talent behind it, and not only is it talent, but it's talent who is familiar with and cares about the source material...

Gans has been a fan of the Silent Hill series since the first one came out, and he had been trying to get a SH movie made pretty much ever since he played it...

judging upon what you all think of it when it comes out, will depend on whether I see it or not, so my fate rests on your shoulders! :D

we shall be careful judges for we take life seriously and wasting 90min of precious time you shall never get back would be a tragedy at least on a bad ...really bad film. ;)

Actually if Silent Hill ends up being trash, it will have wasted 125 minutes of your time... :p

Most horror movies do end up around 90 minutes, so that's pretty long... Which, considering the source material, is probably a good thing...
