I knew this actually.

As I knew:

Zorse
Zedonk
Zebrass

And there are a few more that I knew of, but I forget the names of them now. :(

For some reason I always thought "liger" was spelt "Lyger"

So I guess the joke is on the writer's of Napolean Dynamite, who thought they had something clever here. In your face writer's! Napolean is referring to an actual species!

Read all about cross-breed animals here...

I'm surprised some of you guys didn't know that Ligers were real...

What's Nicolas Cage doing working for some freaky traveling show? I mean, I know the Weather Man wasn't classic, but it got good reviews..

There's also an okapi! It's a cross between a ZEBRA, Donkey, and a Giraffe. Don't ask me how that works, because I wouldn't be able to tell you.

Shall I be the one to break to you that these cross-breeds are usually not fertile?

Um..I'm not Dylan, and I did not really know if they were or not. I just thought that they were another interesting "breed." (not sure if this is bad grammar, because there's only one word in quotes.)

I am, and I implied that God made them....

Just clearing things up.

Well, you see, Dylan is Dylan. Which is why I referred to him as Dylan.

He said something about "god".

I said Okapi's arent natural.

Dylan is Swan.

They once had a liger on the Tonight Show. They're really big. Over 10 feet long. If you breed the reverse (male of the other and female of the other) you get a Tion which are pretty small. Both are serile.

so why isn't a mule called a horkey or dorse or something

Mules happen naturally while ligers do not...plus people breed mules for a purpose...i can't see breeding ligers if only to impress your friends with the sheer size of your giant cat. Not gonna have a lion and a tiger shacking up normally in the wild.

That's where the rufie comes into play...
