According to EGM rumor mill Rare is working on a new Banjo-Kazooie platformer for DS. As much as I want a new console version I don't want to have to buy a 360 to play it.

Betrayal is not an act easily forgiven. Tell Rare to take their kooky animal adventure elsewhere.

Yes.

Yes.

Yes.

I approve.

I don't want to buy a 360 just for this game either. I'm enticed!

I noticed that Rare still ports the Donkey Kong Country games. They still have relations with Nintendo.

Of course they do. Banjo Pilot anyone? Its Mr. Pants?

They just dont do cube games anymore. Its really just that simple.

I would LOVE to see a Banjo Kazooie game on the DS. The N64 game just might have been their finest moment.

Kazooie was alright. I never quite trusted Banjo though.

Right after he raped Kazooie and left her in the woods.

GM, Rare didn't betray Nintendo. Nintendo basically sold them to MS but MS doesnt care that Rare still makes game for Ninty's handheld. MS still gets a chunk of the profits ;)

As for the B-K DS game...would be nice to see it hit that.

Rare doesn't just bring games to AGB/DS, Ninty actually lets them port one of their games. Of course it used to be a Rare game, but Nintendo has the DK rights. :p

Isn't it Microsoft whose letting RARE port to Nintendo? It's in microsofts financial interest to let them do it, considering they take a margin out of Rare's pockets now.

Rare is basically second party to Microsoft so whatever MS says goes.
