I received a scholarship in memory of Wally Wood one of the great comic book artists. I was told out of 400 people who applied I ranked #4 in all and #1 out of the cartooning majors. It was a big hooha. Old covers of Wally Wood's (the man responsible for changing Dare Devil from yellow to red...among other bigger things) adorned the room. Many people gave speeches including the creator of the Joker. I shook hands and talked with the creator of the Joker. How friggin' cool is that? I don't think I ever shook so many hands before in my life. I then got one of those huge checks that someone like a pro golfer gets. I'm kicking myself for not asking if I could keep it. Man, guess I can't slack off anymore after this thing.

Congratulations! That is great. Regardless of the amount of money, that is very prestigious. Quite an honor to be able to talk about. Good job.

Congrats, my friend. Do me a favor and update Superman. His super long-johns are a little super dated.

Or how about create an entirely new comic that kicks ass unlike most comics out there today.

Anyways, congrats! That's a hell of a thing to put on your resume.

Actually have an assignment where I have to recreate the first Superman comic strip. Haven't gotten around to it yet though...even though twas due two months ago. Apparently the typical superhero costume was based off of acrobats' costumes.
