I know this is a bit late, but I just saw Bewitched (the movie) the other night. I have to say, I was not impressed. I think my expectations may have been a bit high but I have heard similar reviews. Will Ferrell and Nicole Kidman is not a good combination. It had its funny moments, but overall it was a drag. I wanted more of the magic and less of the love story.

yeah, my sister told me about this movie, she had said it wasn't the best she'd seen.
then I watched it and thought it was a piece of ****.

I saw it at the threatre and I din't think it was too bad. Of course there's no academy awards in sight for this film but it was a 'feel good' movie in my opinion. Nicole was very attractive in terms of personality and appearance.

Kidman played the part well. She just isn't funny though, and I think ferrell needs a funny costar.

Agreed. That and her constant talking in that whispering, breathy voice was annoying.

I havent seen it, nor do I plan to.
But I can totally and biasedly say, that the best part about this movie, is that time I didnt go and see it.

Yeah, that was awesome, remember the part where you didn't laugh at the non-existant non-funny joke that wasn't there?

No, the best part about the movie is when they showed Stewie watching it on Family Guy.

Yesterday for homework one my friends did a comic in which and his wife are watching Bewitched and he's making comment after comment about how bad it is as his wife gets more and more pissed off. Wish I remembered what he said...was pretty funny. Haven't seen the movie myself. Like the show though.

There is very little in common between the show and the movie...

Nostalgia is money. People like watching the old tv shows, so the movie industry is capitalizing on that fact. It is a conspiracy, LOL
