So last night I was in the parking lot of Harris Publishing talking to a friend and waiting for our other friend to get off work when a couple of guys exited the building just next to Harris. My friend commented that she wanted to know what they did there because they always got to wear cool clothes (they looked about 18, wearing street clothes with the the wallet chains). We went up to them and asked them what they did there and they said they made games for Nintendo. This one particular guy was an animator and I asked him if he was working on projects for Revolution. He said yes but that he wasn't allowed to talk about it. I thought about bribing him but I didn't have any cash.
After they left I noticed that their parking spot bumpers said "Retro Studios" on them. I knew they were in Austin I just wasn't sure where. Anyway we tried to break in but all the doors were locked so we had to settle for peering through the windows. They only thing we could see was a shelf with books on C++ object programming, Game Developers conference manuals, and a bunch of materials on something called "Maya."
Any ideas on how to get in? I thought about trying the old "delivering flowers" trick.
P.S. I saw a shooting star for the first time that night.
