Is anyone even motivated to see this movie? I don't know, the first one really confused/freaked me out.

"Hello, Michael. I want to play a game…"
Jigsaw is back. The brilliant, disturbed mastermind who wreaked havoc on his victims in last year's SAW is back for another round of horrifying life-or-death games. When a new murder victim is discovered with all the signs of Jigsaw's hand, Detective Eric Mathews (Donnie Wahlberg) begins a full investigation and apprehends Jigsaw with little effort.

While investigating the bloody aftermath of a grisly murder, Detective Eric Mason (Donnie Wahlberg) has the feeling that it is the work of Jigsaw, the notorious killer who disappeared leaving a trail of bodies - and parts - behind. And Mason is right. Jigsaw is at work again. But instead of two people locked in a room with only one unthinkable way out, there are eight.

Donnie Wahlberg?
Isn't that the guy from New Kids on the Block?

I saw the first one while I was voting third party so didn't bother me till I began to come back. Doubt I could watch them clearheaded.

I'm gonna see this one for sure, the first one was pretty good, except for the crappy acting from the blonde dude.
I love splatter movies like Dawn of the Dead but i like clever thrillers with ample gore like Silence of The Lambs, which this sequal is supposed to be likened more closely to.
Either way, i'd just go see it because Amanda from the first film is back, her segment was awesome.
It was very good. They set it up to have additional sequels, though they will never be the same. You'll know what I mean if you watch it.

I was thinking of downloading it onto my computer, but it sounds like it could be a hit, I mean $30.5 million on the opening weekend? not bad, not bad at all.

I watched both Saw and Saw 2 last week and I thought they were pretty good. Quite clever in spots...worth watching with a bunch of people around halloween time.

My favorite part of these movies is there is no happy ending like all the other movies out there.
I found it quite interesting how it all worked out in the story. Quite messed up haha..
I probaly wont watch many more of these movies, i end up having bad dreams because of them...

You mean League of Extraordinary Gentlemen? ;)
that movie was quite entertaining.
Anyway back to Saw II, someone please tell me Amanda survives.
i've seen shots of her in the pit of needles but she could survive that right? ... right!? :(

Just watched Saw 2, i have to say i am very impressed, i think it was more then a worthy sequal.
That twist at the end was pretty unexpected for me aswell, but it was good.
I wonder if they'll make a Saw 3, i just hope it doesn't become one of those overdone movies like Halloween or some crud slasher for example.

Just saw it last night. One of the people I saw it with was rocking back and forth afterwards repeating over and over: "We should have seen Harry Potter. We should have seen Harry Potter..."

That's good...
Phase one of your plan complete now?

Yes...it's all coming together now...
I thought for Saw 3 they should make it interactive. Like all of a sudden the theater doors lock and the on screen character tells you you have two hours to find the key. Then all hell breaks loose and you wish you bought that automatic at the concession stand instead of that box of jujy fruit.
Or as a special give-away they could have little saws hidden in the popcorn!
