Gizmondo plans to retail the no-ad GPS unit at $399
and an ad-supported unit at $229
the price of the high-end Xbox 360..
They are CRAZY...they will not make it.
I actually laughed while reading that.

i hope to dear god that if anyone has that money they'd get the xbox 360 in stead of Gizmondo GPS/ noad unit......
geez... who do they expect to pay that much for a handheld?
OH GOD NOOO!!! Say it isn't so! It must live!!
I would cross Jizzmondo off my christmas list, assuming there was any chance of it being there in the first place.

My mom can only make so many stops in one day.

The Electronic Boutiques at my mall still has N-Gage on display, how crazy is that?
I remember I tryed to play a N-Gage at a EB and I got so confused.

The buttons are screwed up.... The A - B buttons don't follow the normal angle of your thumb. They go up and to the right instead of down and to the left. That's just retarded.

I got a Gizmondo for free from a colleague who got it for free and didn't want it.
Yeah...
If anything, it was worth getting to play this:

Seriously, that's a real game.

I was checking out their site about it and I found quite a humourous line
The real fun begins when he forgets to ask permission or enters prohibited areas like parks and sports grounds.
You couldn't make this stuff up if you tryed.

damn, expensive little bugger.
Honestly though, did they actually expect people to shell out that much for a handheld?
I get the vibe that they feel they are doing something revolutionary.

If you walked into ebgames with $400 would you get a handlheld supporting GPS/no-ads, or an Xbox 360 this christmas?
I would buy the Xbox 360 of course... they are competing with Xbox360 price wise, cept the price is for a handheld.... Even for $229.... they are still airing commercials on your Gizmondo... this company is restarded...
Yeah, if I had that money, well first off I would save it for the PS3, but between Gizmondo, Gizzy, and the 360X, I would go with the latter.
And I had forgotten about the ads. What kind of ads do you think they will have?

Three Gizmondo executives (http://www.gamesindustry.biz/content_page.php?aid=12547) are connected to the Swedish mob.
Really makes you wonder about that business, doesn't it?
