Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance (GCN)

I just picked this up. Did anybody else?

I've been waiting for this game a long time. When I saw it at PAX 05 I got pretty excited. I can't wait to finish my tea and go try it.

Fire Emblem is one of the best game franchises ever.

Well I've played a few hours of it, and I am definitely liking it.

They have an evolved cavalier in your party for every level - playing the first fire emblem, I've figured out not to use her. So I stole her vulneraries and her steel axe and now she's just a strategic block. In fact, I think having her there just to be there is a strategical benefit. Now my Ike is level 10 in level 4 because he's killed every boss and a lot of people.

Note: for the love of god don't pick easy mode. I think that will certainly ruin your fun.

I've gotta get time to buy this- I'm still playing Dawn of Sorrow on DS, I haven't STARTED Lost in Blue, and I've got 2 or 3 PS2, Xbox, and GCN games I need to finish.

Fire Emblem came out just a tad too late; else I'd have it by now.

If I don't buy it in the coming weeks, I'll probably end up buying for myself at Xmas. ;)
