My computer got a Trojan.

And I need help on getting rid of it. I'm not too smart with computers so forgive me if I don't know what you guys are saying.

how do you know it got a trojan? and what kind is it?

usually in order to get rid of it, you would have to delete the source file and the registry entry of the file. and that's it.

but then again there are some which are a lot harder to deal with (mostly dialers, not trojans)

I know because whenever I log on a pop up thing from Norton AntiVirus Auto Protect saying it has found one and that it can't fix or delete.

And all this time I thought you use Trojan brand to reduce the risk.

Hmm.

Tip 1: Stop being a pubescent teenager and dont download porn
Tip 2: Get a girl
Tip 3: Explode the hell out of your computer. That'll learn it.

First delete all of you temporary internet files and cookies. Trojans and other virus's and spyware like to hide there. Then defrag the drive through Programs/Accessories/administrative tools/defrag.

Then get some friggin' virus protection and only visit porn sites through trustworthy indexes that check for that kind of crap. If you want some, PM me.

Ok, so I deleted my cookies and internet files and defragged but it's still there.

I even found this thing that is specifically designed to get rid of it and it couldn't detect it.
