You could then tailor the information available to your circumstances. During a conference, for example, your badge could radiate information on your business interests and the type of deals you are hoping to make. As you come close to people with compatable interests then you will be alerted to each others’ presence.
I think this sounds kinda cool, and you know eventually we'll have subdermal microchips which will vibrate or something when you're near someone with similar interests. In the short-term I can see a PDA programmed to automatically download information that people broadcast for your review later.
