View Full Version : So, who here's getting an Xbox 360 at launch??

And what games are you getting?

I'm probably going to get two wireless controller S's, Perfect Dark Zero, and Kameo.

I've been seeing video of DOA4 running, and I've heard rumors of some changes in gameplay. I want to play a demo and see if the game is actually going towards professional complexity (a la Tekken/Soul Edge/Street Fighter), and if so, I'll get that too.

I also must have NBA 2k6- Visual Concepts made that game look too real with those ultra high-res textures- they gotta be like 400MB per character model...

So, what stuff are you getting with your 360 if you're getting one? If you're NOT getting one, state why.

I'm an certainly not getting this thing at launch. I am in no rush to play high res games that are in this generation.

-pd isn't a launch title,
-gr3 isn't coming til next year
-ea can go screw themselves!

Could spend the money on better things such as having it sit in the bank.

Not getting it until I've skewed my bank account for the PS3. After living life and just having fun, I realized a couple of months goes by fast... The Ps3 will be here sooner then I think...

After I get the ps3, I'm going to save up for a Rev and a 360 as to avoid needless fanboy squabbles. And to experience the best of all worlds.

Unless I win it through the Pepsi promotion, I probably will not be getting it at launch.

Maybe not directly at launch. I want one just because its new but I cant scrape up $400 anytime soon due to other expenses coming out of "nowhere"

PD is a launch title, they have since announced launch games and it was on there.

I'm getting one, possibly. I placed an order at Amazon for a bundle, and then they email me a week later saying my order's been delayed until Nov 29th. All stores taking preorders around here are on second shipment. So I have to try to get one in one of the stores selling them on launch day.

But... I'm getting PD, Kameo, PGR3, and FIFA. And that'll probably be all i get before I return from Iraq next fall. Kameo hopefully will be good, PD Zero I expect to blow ass, PGR3 should but fun, but it'll feel old and repetitive, and FIFA will be a blast, and make me crave a next-gen Winning Eleven.

In the end, I'm pissed off at the politics of marketing, and I'm getting a 360 because I want Too Human.

At the moment, I doubt I'll be getting any systems at launch. No money and no real interest...at the moment, I guess.
