View Full Version : Death of a Monarch.
To whom it may concern, The Queen Mother of Great Britain has just died. I know our Royal Family means something to many Americans so... there it is, she was 101 years of age.
Personally, I was more upset at the death of my dog Bramble 1 month ago. ( Already  )
(EDIT: Yay, 2200 posts.)

This is crap. Oh well, she was old. Um... Yeah. I do not know too much about her, but since Canada and Britain are close (or at least we were close) I am sure that our flags will be half way down.

Bu it doesn't make one little difference to me. The way I see it, so many other people die, of even worse deaths, she was old, this was natural.
But, for pete's sake, why did they have to ruin the whole flipping schedule on the T.V. Today is saturday! The only day of the week that has anything good the whole day through!
I know that may have sounded callous, harsh and down right insensitive, but it had to be said. The Royal Family really is the pits, they have absolutely no purpose, yet they scrounge off the people's taxes for what? NOTHING. The goverment does all the work!
I hate to think why people see this death as something more important than any other persons death!

Indeed. I care much more about the thousands of people that died in the earthquake in Afghanistan.

Another death, another life being born in the world. Sad for the family, but..eh..I guess it's life.

ooo look it's a newbie's post, and guess wat, this newbie doesn't give a ****. Because I didn't care about when Princess Di died, and I dont care when the old lady croaks, because the English royal family is just for show. When was the last time the royal family did something good? Four hundred years ago? i don't even know, and i dont care........

They are worthless. All they do is sit on their worthless Royal asses and all the British people worship them. She died thats great she was 101 it was likely to happen.
