So, it seems as if Matt from IGN is claiming that Nintendo will have a huge announcement at the Tokyo Game Show, and will reveal the Revolution controller, but will not show clips of games. It should be around 7:00pm Thursday by IGN's time, as the announcement will be made Friday in Japan (16 hours ahead).

In even more ridiculous news than that, a new picture has made it's way to the internet, with tons of speculation. I call it a fake, but I thought you all might enjoy it:

very fake... i heard the same info.. but Matt is being stupid these days anyway. Why would they show the controller and no games? That's stupid... the least they can do is feed us some FMVs or something.

Why would they show the controller and no games?
Why would they show the 'console' (meaning an empty box with a console-like design) and really nothing else at E3?
This is Nintendo we're talking about here...
Remember that bit of gossip before E3? "Print screen this page because it holds the secret to Nintendo's big E3 announcement"? That was a bunch of gossip as well and it ruined my Matt C credibility rating completely. I'm betting a bunch of barn-yard animals in collaboration could come up with something better than this.

I'm not going to get caught up in any hype, speculation, or gossip, because there isnt any point.
Does he check this forum? Will he randomly pop in and say someone is right?
The thing I think is funny, is how at times, some people pass their speculation off as truth.
With that said, I think the controller is the old Xbox controller. Just a regular plain fuzzy grizzly bear.

I found the most interesting thing to be the fact that the game was called GumShu, and it stars "Nick Stevenson", and there was a NES game (made by Nintendo) called GumShoe that starred a Mr. Stevenson. (http://www.planetnintendo.com/nindb/nes/gs.shtml)
Pretty obscure reference. I still think it's a fake, I just applaud the guy who made it for thinking that far back.
