Well, we went to Estes Park, (not too far from here) and Visited the Stanley Hotel... for those who dont know, the stanley hotel is on the nations most haunted hotels list.

It is also the place where the shot the Aspen shots in Dumb and Dumber ("race you to the top" "we landed on the moon" and "there ya go... there ya go" scenes at the hotel etc)

It was also the hotel the book and 2 movies of the shining were based, and the second movie was actually filmed there.

anyways, I'll post some pictures in a second.

Wow, that sounds like an amazing adventure you had. Did you experience any spiritual oddities while you were there?

For Labor Day, I went to the mall and Target with my mom. I was fruitless in my search for shorts (I guess people don't wear shorts after August and before May). However, I didn't come out completely empty-handed. The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction and Sonic Gems Collection both have made their way into my Gamecube library. After that, we took our dog on a walk. Then I came home and did homework.

Well on labor day I didn't do much that was exciting. I did some homework and went to wal-mart, twice, and hung out with people.

For Labor Day I volunteered at the Star of Hope for volunteers (literally mountains of donations came in to just that one place, we didn't even make a dent after five hours), and I bought a desk at Ikea for an apartment in New Orleans which may not be there anymore.

I sat at a mediocre all-you-can-eat sushi place named Top Gun on the New Westminster Quay for 2 hours.

Then on the way home I bought a bullet-proof manpurse made by Wenger, the Swiss Army Knife company. It has a laptop compartment and a very comfortable shoulder strap. When I got home I put my Wenger knife on the strap and now it looks complete.

Labour Day was the only day I didn't party on this weekend.

I drove five hours and moved back into school yesterday. Saw some friends and some new freshmen and all of that. I think I'm tired of it already and classes haven't even started yet.
