I'm confused
Microsoft Messenger is the effing annoying version, standard in an install of Windows XP, that won't stop connecting when you turn to alternate sources of internet in foreign places, logging you on and having people message you "WHERE ARE YOU?" only to drive you mad and wish you'd told them about you leaving.
MSN Messenger is the good version that actually listens and doesn't boot up randomly and run in the background even after you tell it not to, 5 times.

Mine never boots up. I told it to not load when windows starts and eventually it got the hint. Just have MSN messenger load up now
yea. not too difficult to stop ms messenger from loading when windows starts. theres also i believe, a way to delete it competely. (i've never actually looked to see how easy it is to delete because it never loads up for me, so doenst bother me)

No, guys, it's fine booting up; it's just when I hook into connections at work and wireless randomly, it starts up in the background automatically.
And I've heard of the way to delete it, and I've tried it, but it started running about a week ago when I hooked up at work. It's a cursed program.

I remember getting XP for the first time a few years back, and having that annoying thing pop up constantly. It was especially annoying while playing a game, it would minimize the game immediatley back to the desktop. I got rid of that bastard program for good, I believe I found a way to shut the damned thing down in the registry. Im sure if you did a search you could find the same thing I found.
