Hey everybody. Well, its half-way through August, and I'm just wondering how everybody's summers went! Did you party hard, or not at all? Did you work way too much, or not enough? See any cool concerts or shows, or go on any cool vacations with family or friends?

I had my first ever four month summer, since I ended my first year of university. For the first 3 weeks, I couldn't find a job, so I basically hung out with friends all day and all night, drinking and smoking weed. I barely hit the gym, but whatever, I was having fun. Then I got a job, and the rest of my summer went on. I've been working 50 hours a week at 10 bucks an hour, so I have been making some great money.

Working 50 hours a week is really tiring. I go to work, then go to the gym, then go to bed. During the week I don't see my friends, but I need money for the school year, so it is something that I must do. Every weekend I party really hard though, which is good. I usually go all out on Fridays, then sleep all day Saturday, haha.

Anyways, with the summer winding down, share all your thoughts on summer 2005!

Summer has been fackin great. My life gets better every year and summer isnt an exception.

Hmm, lets see. Well, I got a new girlfriend, got my lisence, got a working car, went to hawaii for a week, was a camp counselor for the week right after that, been working 6 days a week and bringing in my own money which is a freakin great feeling. I've been hanging out with buds almost everyday after work. Seen a **** load of movies this summer too. Gonna go camp up near June Lake the weekend before school starts with friends. Oh, and I'm going to take some peer-mediation classes in a few days so I can be a peer-mediator in school this coming year. Pretty good experience for someone planning a career in psychology no?

I've gone to maybe 10 concerts so far this summer most of which have been unknown hardcore and punk shows. Went to Rock The Bells two weekends ago and I'm incredibily confident that you would have loved it Joeiss cus 3/4 of the people there were High and smoking....and there were like at least 50,000 people there.

Things I've been wanting to do have been going to the gym, reading all these nice books I've collected for myself (Slaughterhouse-Five, Flowers for Algernon, Autobiography of Malcom-X, Animal Farm. etc.etc.), playing more basketball (played in Hawaii and kicked some local ass...but since then I didnt play ball till yesterday), and studying for the SAT again (I only got a 1920).

Oh yeah, and I've been volunteering at a couple places and events. Was working a snack bar at the park for the kids playing Baseball for a couple weeks. Helped out in the 4th of July parade and got to meet the mayor of LA. Helped out in the Lotus festival and today I should be going down to Little Tokyo to give a hand in the Tofu festival.

A mixture of good and bad. Got my own place. Have a moderately stable job. Still some outstanding issues I havent overcome.

What is that supposed to mean? haha. I don't get high too often anymore. But when I do, boy do I ever trip out, hahaha.

What bands were at that concert? Any classic rock artists?

Good to hear your summer was awesome man.

My summer has been interesting and fun.

I also finished my first year of university and got off extraordinarily early, which gave me 5 months off. I worked at Best Buy for about 3 of them, but I ended up not liking that. While I worked at Best Buy I was doing 4 am wakeups regularily, and the people working there were all just dicks. I made some good money though, enough to buy a PSP.

I went on a vacation to the Oregon Coast for two weeks and got a decent tan. I also got a lot of shirts. It was a fun time.

I went to Spinto Band last night and I detail that soon. It was quite the show.

Other than that, I work full-time making websites right now as I wind up this August. I also go out a few towns over to see my girlfriend regularily and it's a fun drive.

My summer has been alright. It was good when I got my graduation certificate, which was a shock and a half. I've been patching things up with a certain girl, so now things are looking better for that.

I havent really gone anywhere though, But me and my friend have made up for the lack of camping, by having lots of bonfires and cold shots.

Except last night, I went to Seattle to see The Spinto Band. I talked to Germy and them. I hugged him. It was erotic. He squeezed like he cared.

How's that for every single damn weekday.

I had a great summer. Spent most of it just relaxing, because after a 10 month school year full of socializing and drama, I'm sick of people for two months. So I spent it mostly at home, doing things I don't have time to do during the school year, like play games, work on art, and write.

I went to the beach for a week, and saw a 3 Doors Down concert a couple weeks after that.

Spent two or three weekends with friends, but that was it.

I'd also like to add to my previous post. My dad bought a Mercedes Benz yesterday, and he's given me his Volvo.

So, effectively, this post is a nana-nana-boo boo post aimed solely at Gekko for telling me to save up for a car when I bought my PSP. How's that for Karma.

I had what I would call a decent summer. Not bad, but not totally awsome either. Vacation wise, me and a buddy went to Cedar Point on Ohio, which was a good time, stayed 2 nights, had our own hotel room. That was my first vacation without the family so it was exciting. I also went to another little amusement park in Indiana, im a real rollercoaster/ride freak so I go to parks like that whenever I can.

As for the Partying, I cant say I did it a whole lot this summer, but just this past thursday, I did attend one helluva party. I cant say im a real big party guy normally, but I want to one on thursday, and it was quite a doozie. It was out about 25 miles away from where we all live, but I knew most of the people there, they were mostly from my town, which was cool. It was out in the middle of nowhere, so there was little to no chance of getting caught. The house party was apparently at a kid I knows grandparents spare house. Anyways, this party had everything I could possibly want at a party. I got to see a lot of my classmates one last time before a lot of people go away for college, got to see 3 hot girls make out, and I got wasted as did pretty much everyone else it seemed. It was kinda sad in a way, that was probably the last time I'll see a lot of those people for a very long time, possibly ever. But at least we went out with a bang. Sorry about the long rant there, its just I dont normally attend big parties like this so it was quite a big deal for me.

Tonight was pretty cool. I decided to set up a BBQ for 10 or so friends and after the cookin was done we got a bit bored so my friend and I did this (http://www.putfile.com/media.php?n=Picture-12453) a couple times. I'm first.

Thats one thing im going to miss. The House partys. Even if there are more that I end up attending, there's no way they'll be as cool as some of the High School ones. No way.

Oh, yes there will my friend. Once you rent a house with a couple of friends, there will be maaaad house parties...

However, it was always fun trying to sneak in a party with my parents coming home at like 1:30am. Then they call at 12:00 and say that they are on their way, and everybody panics, haha. Good ol' days. Now at my parties, my parents usually drink with us! hahaha.

Yea, I hope so anyways. Somehow I just dont see them being as good. That was the cool thing about this one though. It was in the middle of knowhere, and there was absolutley no chance of getting caught. We were as loud and obnoxious as I can ever remember. And there were like 50 people there, and it was grand.

Damn, I've been inheriting bad memory lately. To be fair, they were both against the purchase.

No, I think it was gekko... although it could have been me too. Ah, my memory doesn't last that long, who knows.

School starts for me tomorrow. Im going to Illinois Central College, a local Junior college. Last night I went with a few friends down to Illinois State University, and we partied pretty good. That was my first real college party, and it was quite a time. We hung out at both a friend of mines brothers apartment on Campus, and also the Watterson residence hall, which I believe is the tallest dorm in the country at 28 stories. Makes me kinda wish I wouldve gone to a 4 year school, but im saving thousands of dollars this way.

My summer went by super fast. But I can't complain. It was really fun. I was with my friends a lot. I can't complain. I've been in school for 3 weeks already (gotta love Florida schools..). We started August 8. Haha. Oh well.. it's senior year, it's cool. Now all I can to do is hope I make it to Boston for college.
