Halo 2 in HD

So we just got a new HD TV and I bought the HD cable for the Xbox to connect to the TV along with it. Anyway, when I play Halo 2 now I notice a lot more jaggies. Is this normal?

it sure is... gamecube does that badly too in 480p....


it's because you have higher resolution, so it accents the good and the bad... go rent soul cailber II and then you'll see what a real HD game on the xbox looks like.

Traditional TVs blur the picture, where HDTVs have a much sharper picture, so you notice more of the defects in the picture.

Same thing will happen when you jump to a higher-than-native resolution, such as doing 1080i conversion with your DVD player. You'll notice a lot more detail, but solid colors are a lot fuzzier as well.

But the real question is, why are you playing Halo 2? :p
