Shining Lore, is set in the feuding world of Ardran, where gamers can play alone or together to destroy the evil that resides there. Although the game has been designed as an epic adventure that can be played for many hours, the developers have also included elements with the casual gamer in mind. Many shorter mini-games are included, and the player can completely adjust their character to their own tastes – even designing and decorating their own house! You can then meet with other players in one of the local cafes to discuss your tastes in decorating and fashion, and sell or swap items that you’ve created if you so wish.
Other original features include the ability to eat. As well as your HP and MP, you also have a hunger bar that must be constantly refilled if you’re to keep your strength up. Developing a profession is also necessary to progressing in the game. For example, train to be a chef and you can prepare food, become an engineer and you’ll be able to create strong weapons, or study alchemy and discover how to mix potions. These skills will also affect the way your character fights in battle.
We think Shining Lore sounds extremely interesting, and if Phantagram can realize half the features they have planned, this could certainly help Microsoft’s prospects in Japan.

Xbox finally gets a Japanese style RPG and it could turn out to be some thing really special! :)
