I like the opacity change on the explorer, very stylish...

It looks good. I hope we can get the classic start menu.

And the icons are too big, it's stupid.

cant stant the classic start menu. on xp prefer its new style, with small icons and icons only on the right.

this new one looks pretty good if you can make your own menus and stuff right there on the start menu instead of having to goto programs first. bit more like linux which are the menus i prefer.

The folders tilted on their side seriosuly bugs me. All your precious documents and such are just begging to fall out. Considering visually you can make it look like that with XP using some style program I'll wait too see the actual features before passing judgement. I thought it was gonna be drastically different but looks more the same.

Worst OS release ever.

At one point in time it could've actually been a rather late, but good OS. Then they scrapped all the features, and the few they had left they released for XP with the service packs. So now we're left with a slight GUI change and a huge marketing campaign.

I wouldn't update.

Worst OS release ever That would have to be Millenium.

The antialiasing they use on this OS, looks similar to Mac OS X now.....

They are beginning to catch on to Mac's stylish and smooth Operating system UI.

As long as it keeps XP compatibility mode also (thats a more then obvious duh, it will answer :p ) I'll get it on day one. But if its bug filled or has poor compatibility/issues, I'll hold off for a bit.
