GameTRAC needs to get back to life and frankly, the senate is fresh out of ideas. So here is your chance to 1000 dblns for an idea used (of course it will be approved through the senate) and 100 dblns for an idea the Senate and I take into consideration! So come on! Help out your clan and you get something in return! Thanks!

two words COUNTER STRIKE.

Just pick a server, and a time, and lets rock. Or you could make it organized, with certian teams and everything, or you could just come and choose the team of your choice. Whatever. I dont care.

That would work if more people had counterstrike. For now, I'll have to check into that. 100 dblns for you.

well......we could challenge PMDC, or find another rival clan...and then set up a game...any game, even chess...i wonder if PMDC still exists...

Checkout zone.com. That's where we play chess. They have TONS of games there, maybe there's something we'd be interested in there.

YEA! Thanks Bluefire. And people, if you didnt know, you can download Counter Strike for free from http://www.counter-strike.net/ Im not sure if you need Half-Life or not...

Kitana has a good idea -- the Zone has a ton of free games that you can play, and it's a great site for little in-clan (or out of clan) tournaments.

i think we need to shape up a lil' bit before we go challenging a clan. i think we need to start having regular matches or something like at least once or twice a month and you guys definately need to get some games.

We could have trivia contests, but not necessarily based on t.v. shows. We could have theme based trivia games like Star Wars trivia or sports trivia or video games trivia or t.v. trivia or whatever. Give doubloons for whoever wins.


We could maybe make them a monthly thing or bi-monthly or whatever.

Well I did a little searching and found a downloadble, free, massive multiplayer online adventure games called Runescape.

Here's a link to it so you can check it out before deciding anything :

It's pretty good actually. Maybe it doesn't have the best graphics and the battle system could be better, but I liked it. You can create your character and choose which world to play in. You interact with others (saying what you want) trade or fight with them. You can send messages to others. There are quests you have to carry out and other things like that. It may not be as good as Baldur's Gate or Diablo, but it's something everyone can get easily and for free.

It may be pathetic, but this clan needs to be active more, doesn't it? If you can find something like this for free, you'll be rewarded with many doubloons.

Well I never made it out to be a friggin masterpiece, but it's fairly good considering the circumstances :rolleyes:.

Well Starcraft would be a good idea cause i know quiet a few people here have it. Ink link is also a lot of fun. We could set a D2 xpac duleing game, but im the only person here that plays it and would own you all in a duel :D. Rainbow six Rogue spear is a lot of fun its kinda like counter strike but you dont need a cd key or a cd to play online. The only thing you need a cd for is to create games but you can still join them without it.

We could challenge other clans to any of those or just have a tournament within our clan. Thats all i can think of right now. BlueFire tell me what you think of these

Hmmmm well for roguespear you just need a friend who has it to let you borrow it then install it and you can play anytime you want online just you can't create games but you can still play. Inklink is just a game on shockwave. DibloII you can download but wont get a a cd key, and same with starcraft.

Now gimme some Doubloons! :D

Roguespear would be losta fun IMO since its kinda like CS but you dont need a cd-key. Rogue spear also has like 6x as many guns as in CS.

CONCLUSION TO THE RUNESCAPE IDEA

Ridley Came up with the idea of us playing together on Runescape, interested by this idea I downloaded the game last night and played it for several hours. This is the conclusion I reached:

I do not believe this game is either suitable for or fits the needs of GTRAC, the game is pretty crap, you spend hours wandering aimlessly and trying to get a suit of armour, sword and shield etc. You collect a number of items which you seem to have to trade with people, no one on the game is willing to help you get started and it can be very confusing. And guess what happens if you die, you loose all your items, all your hard work was for nothing. Basically I just dont think this is something we should consider.

I will add though that Ridley thoroughly deserves a reward of some description for his find. Its the best idea anyone has come up with so far.

It isn't a GREAT (or really a good one for that matter) game but then again you can't really expect great games for free, that are easily downloadable, etc. :( Oh well I tried.

I think we should create a trivia tourney against PMDC sowe see who is the better clan or we can play games on Yahoo Games against them and we have a tourney with our clan to pick our best player and they pick thiers and we have competition

I know this thread is pretty old. But I just got access to GTRAC. and I found this site. I dont know if any are good to play. Haven't tested any of the games. But it sounds/looks like something worth checking out.

And I too, was thinking of trivia with another clan...like we could make a chatroom on AIM or something...and then do some trivia, based on whatever we want.
