View Full Version : GTA3 for pc is on its way....

We just got word from Rockstar that the PC version of GTA3 will be available this May. Rockstar president Sam Houser hopes to build upon the "astronomical success" of the game and "bring it back home to the PC" where it will no doubt enjoy similar success.

Development director Les Benzies predicts the PC version will live up to our expectations: "The PS2 version was a terrific achievement for us and now, we're looking forward to maximizing the game's potential for the PC. We know that there is an enormous, avid fan base out there that has waited patiently for the PC version of GTA3. The final product will blow them away."

Sounds great to me, lets just hope they have ironed out a few of the games creases and that it is'nt too difficult to play on a keyboard.

Those pictures are rendered right????

Yeah! Alright! I love GTA games, I have GTA2 and I play it all the time, and I can't wait until GTA3 for PC

thats great a *better* version of gta3. how can they make it better, oh well thats good for me.i seemed to enjoy gta2 very much like u shooter. i didnt no there were people besides me that really liked that game, i play it all the time.

the march edition of pc gamer says that it's gonna be released on April 16, 2002

Wow, I almost forgot it was being released on the PC, I've got it for the PS2, but I think the PC version will be better, surely there will be a crack of some sort to let you build levels and customize things (Like in GTA1), also there will be patches for it not possible on the PS2, so hopefully there'll be some good updates as well
