Hey, so I'm bored and I'd like to know if you guys know of any abandoned buildings in the area (interesting ones like hospitals and the like).
My friends and i were exploring a bit and we examined two buildings:
A hospital and an old mental facility.
I'll just copy and paste what i have on my LJ here :] :
Abandoned Hospital (supposedly it was a hospital)

randomn stuffs: found off of 441 (highway), this building is next to a jewish teaching center (odd.) and is definetly abandoned. many windows are broken, kind of a grim looking place. the only reason we call it a hospital is because of a faded out 'emergency' sign in the front of the building. another odd thing about the building is at night time, the stairwell is lit and the top floor or the floor below that is lit. it's a tall building, and we found to possible entries into the area. one is by parking into the jewish learning center and climbing the fence to the hospital area, which would be ideal because we can cause less attention to ourselves. the other entrance is a giant hole in the fence on the side of the building, but that's facing the street and we could get caught.

random ****: adjacent to the publix in north miami, this building is all boarded up and it is definetly hard to get in. It supposedly is a mental health facility. i found a few odd things. first of all, its located in a ****ing shopping mall plaza. All windows are boarded except for one window on the top floor. and lastly:

found that in the back of the building. this place is sealed pretty well. whoever sealed it (my guess is the city) didnt want anyone in. the only possibly way to get in is thru a door in the back:

t's sealed damn well, but if a crow bar is used we MIGHT just be able to open it. other than that, no entrace.
there was a glass door in the front of the building. i looked through the window. it was a reception room or some foyer i guess. take a looksie:
