Have you ever made a toe-curling digital blunder? It is easily done, judging by the number of tales of stupidity we read on the web.

In one classic tale, a woman calls a tech-support line to complain that she has just bought a computer and it does not work. In the picture on the box, she says, the screen is "all nice and sharp looking", but in reality she cannot see anything - her purchase looks more like a bell than a computer.

The reason? Her monitor is face-down.
 this one is down right stupid

Hah. Nothing tops that.

Well, I used AOL for about two years. I used all caps when I typed, and I frequented a lot of chatrooms..

Yeah, those were some dark times.

And the forum newbie goof: Trying to post an image directly from your own hard drive.
(img)C:\My Documents\picture.jpg(/img) for example.

Admit it, you've probably done that sometime in your life. I know I have.
