Jesus H. Christ.
Yeah, I saw video of him months ago. He's definitely slimmed down.
Good on him.

Just watch. His flair for making movies will drop along with his weight. His chub was like Samson's hair.

it might seem that all the sci-fi buffs are chubby and have a fair amount of chunk. I.e. George, Peter.. etc.
I fear for Peter's imaginative skills... they may have been lost along with his blubber... who knows.

You're crazy.....none of these movies were any good?
The Lost World (1997) Bad
Amistad (1997) Good
Saving Private Ryan (1998) Very Good
American Journey (1999) (what is this?)
A.I. Artificial Intelligence (2001) Kinda good
Minority Report (2002) Very good
Catch Me If You Can (2002) Very good
The Terminal (2004) Very good
Woah, extreme makeover!
He needs to really trim his hair though.

a good director has to look like that: Beard, longer hair

Why did you put his picture in? I like me my Star Wars, but George Lucas is NOT a good director. Not lately, anyway.

Edit: I have 666 doubloons. Satan's money. Sweet.

You bring up another good point Crash about the beard and long hair ;) +rep!
It sort of makes sense. While filming the Lord of the Rings trilogy I'm sure he had very limited access to food and probably went to the easiest and fastest thing to find: fast food. He was probably also under extreme stress. Now that he has more leisure time he is able to eat healthy food and exercise.

Not to mention the fact that he is a lot more popular after those movies now. Also he might have been embarrassed after looking like that and having to go to all those award shows.

Hm that sucks.... :( I liked Peter because he had this great attitude. :D He didn't care about how he looked.

He does look different. But I prefer the fat look. He had a style about him. Skinny (at least in that pic), he looks like a nut job.
But not all director's need that rugged look to pull it off.

The guy pointing.
Sure he has only three real films under his belt. But he is batting 3 for 3.

After listening to people comment about your looks/weight constently for a couple years, I bet it would make you want to do something about it. Even if you did supposedly "not care."
And Sony/Kyuzo, I don't know much about the culture, but I love the music. I'm pretty sure I even sported a Haste the Day avatar before this one. Maybe it was before you arrived.
