That's the word on the street right now. It should be starting this month.

I assume it'll be true with Electric Blue as well.

Discuss.

Bah...should help sell systems, but makes me mad I didnt wait to get a DS...they should offer it to people who have registered a lot of games at Nintendo.com...ive registered like 9 games, but all the promotions theyve got going suck.

Only 9?

:sneaky:

Speaking of which, they have a Metroid Prime 3/Luminoth Temple thing going if you have Metroid Prime 2 registered. I've heard about it but I still need to register all my Nintendo games for the past ~6 months. I have a lot.

I was going to buy that DS for myself and give my old one for my little sister...

I could just give the extra game to her...

I want the electric blue DS. Maybe EBGames will give me a 'decent' trade in price for my Silver one :p *realizes EB never does*

GameStop was out of Mario 64 for the deal. Circuit City wasn't doing the deal. Neither was Target or Game Express. What a pointless 8 mile walk. Ordered the electric blue DS with Mario 64 at ebgames. *prays for no dead pixels*

I've never even heard about dead pixels on Gameboys or DS's. o_o

DS went through the same dead pixel fiasco as the PSP, you must've missed it.

My DS has 1 dead pixel that is red but I dont always see it. Only really see it when the screen goes black when its on but its not annoying enough to return it yet.

I remember when GBA first came out and everyone was complaing about the darkness of the screen. I bought a Japanese one just to be safe then because there was some speculation that those screens were lighter. Plus no messy bar code which was a plus. I treat my new electronics like royalty for the first few months I own them. GBP was in a ziplock bag. GBA stayed in its plastic covering till I got a case for it (just recently got my very first scratch on it), GC sat on a towel with another towel on top of it when not in use.

I got it. Loved it. And now realize I have a dead pixel that stays red in the middle of the upper screen. *sigh*
