No, this is not a porn thread.
A former FBI official claims he was "Deep Throat," the long-anonymous source who leaked secrets about President Nixon's Watergate coverup to The Washington Post, his family said Tuesday.

W. Mark Felt, 91, was second-in-command at the FBI in the early 1970s. His claim was revealed Tuesday by Vanity Fair magazine, and family members said they believe his account is true.

My history teacher that I had for the past two years talked about this. She mentioned about this guy who had a class with the purpose of researching the whole time trying to find out who Deep Throat was. They finally came up with Felt, and I guess it's true then. That's cool to know.

Interesting Trivia:


The name "Deep Throat" was taken from the pornographic movie Deep Throat, which had become a cultural phenomenon during the period; it is also a play on the journalistic term "deep background," meaning information provided that cannot be reported directly. Deep Throat came to public attention when Woodward and Bernstein wrote All the President's Men, a book also made into an Academy Award-winning movie. In the movie, Deep Throat was portrayed by Hal Holbrook.

And then they made a movie Enter Deep Throat not too long ago talking about it. It's apparently supposed to be not bad. Documentary as well.
