Well seems like some new games have come out of the GDC.
http://www.nintendose.net/news/n0098.shtml

Well I found some of those games including a fishing game and an RPG.

Top Angler

http://xicat.com/images/topAng4.jpg

Place your bait, set your hook and reel in the big one! This is the quintessential Man versus Nature game. You are set up with the most up to date lures, bait, Fish finders and boating equipment available. With these advantages your mission is to catch the most wily prey known to modern fisherman. You will prowl the best fishing lakes in the world on your hunt for a championship Bass

The game is a one player game and is currently set for release on the Ps2 in Q2. The GC version may not be too far behind.

Gothic- Another RPG for the Cube, and PC port.

Welcome to the world of Gothic. War has decimated the land, Orc Hordes are invading human territory and the king of the land needs a lot of ore to forge enough weapons for his army to stand against this threat. Prisoners from all over the empire are imprisoned in a large magical sphere where they have to work in the mines for the king. You are thrown into the sphere to give a letter to the high mages, this letter may be the turning point on the war against the Orcs.
The world is constantly changing, throughout the game sudden events will change the world and entire relationships between several groups. NPCs have daily habits, sleeps at night, gets up in the morning, goes to work, and talks to other NPCs. Monster AI, Monsters cooperate with each other and figure things out. If a monster finds a better weapon it will use it.

In the game you will pass a lot of different riddles that will take you to places where you can find stronger weapons or you can improve your equipment. If someone’s not interested in the more difficult riddles, it is possible to go throughout the game and only solve the easier ones.

Don't know how many of the features will be retained for the Cube version but let's hope most of it.

Well I don't know about Shayde according to the site it's a graphic FPS exclusive to the X-Box.
Shayde

http://www.metro3d.com/images/games/game_media/shayde/002.gif

Shayde: Monsters vs. Humans is a new fast-paced first-person shooter exclusively for the Microsoft XBOX. Set in a world of supernatural gothic horror, you choose the fate of mankind. Will you fight on the side of good, vanquish the plague of monsters and be the hero? Or take the side of evil, rid the world of those pesky humans and feast on their flesh? 6 different characters give you six sides to the story of Shayde.

Like I said before on the site it says it's exclusive for the X-Box so I don't know if that has changed or it's just a typo.

Reign of Fire

Reign of Fire for PlayStation®2 will throw gamers into ferocious battles between two ancient species fighting for survival: humans and dragons. An action-packed game set in the near future, players will choose to take the side of the humans - struggling against a seemingly insurmountable fire-breathing foe, or to play as a dragon that's out to eradicate everything in its path. Based on the forthcoming multi-million dollar Spyglass Entertainment movie of the same name, Reign of Fire will capture all of the movie's excitement, tension and jaw-dropping special effects, in one spectacular pyrotechnic maelstrom.

Well these games are now listed on the nintendo australian site:

Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance
Groove Rider
Jackie Chan 2
Rabu Tribe
Reign of Fire
Tankers
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4
Villeneuve Racing
X-Men Wolverine's Revenge

which you can see here (http://www.nintendo.com.au/games/index.html) (just look down the side, they list launch titles and titles coming soon. There all in there somewhere.

Also, the following Gamecube games were announced at the Game Developers Conference in San Jose, California by Nintendo of America:

Take Two: Evo
Take Two: Mafia
BAM! Entertainment: Reign of Fire
BAM! Entertainment: Mage
Xicat Interactive: Acceleration
Xicat Interactive: Top Angler
Xicat Interactive: Gothic
Acclaim: Extreme Downhill Racing
Acclaim: Mary Kate & Ashley Tropical Trouble
Metro 3D: Shade

And here's link:
planetgamecube (http://www.planetgamecube.com/news.cfm?action=item&id=2810)
cube-europe (http://www.cube-europe.com/fullnews.cgi?newsid1016867250,96169,)
igncube (http://cube.ign.com/articles/356/356033p1.html)

Gothic looks quite promising (Breakabone, where did you find those screenshots and info), not so sure about mafia though(although i know very little about the game). And i'm certainly not bothered about bass fishing, i really don't see the point in a fishing game. Maybe as a little bonus game in an RPG or adventure game (like the great fishing game in OoT), but as a stand alone game. I really don't see the attraction myself. I can't even workout the screen shots of Shayde, so i'm not going to comment.

Also, if you look at all the launch titles listed on the australian website (http://www.nintendo.com.au/games/index.html), theres 27 games listed for the launch and it says that theres more games to be announced. I'm assuming that all those games will also make it for european launch (i'll be pissed if there not, the launches are on the day after all). Which is nice to hear, even though i'll only be able to get 6 of them at the very most (more than likely less though).

Those all look like fairly decent games, and Gothic looks pretty cool, despite the name.
