I miss a few options. Or at least 1: less than these. :D
i wanna say i still dont think ps3 or 360 will be more then 299. However i wouldnt be surprised to see a 399 price on it. i doubt it'll be more then that tho.

Well a lot of people will hope for a no more than $399 price tag, but Jason Wong mentioned the RSX is more powerful then two $500 GeForce's...... anyquestions?
LOL anyway... I'll pay up to $499 for this... I'm so excited, but I wouldn't be surprised it it's a lot cheaper then we all speculate.

Yeah I'm with Null... It'd be nice if they could aim for a 299 price tag, but I'm not quite sure if that'll work out for PS3...
However I'd prolly be willing to pay up to 399 for it, although a price like that would obviously hurt sales somewhat...

If PS3 wants to collect a large amount of owners, they have to keep it at $299 or lower. Pre-E3 polls that were conducted revealed $299 is as high as the majority of gamers will go. So basically if Sony goes any higher, it'll be like a kick to the crotch for their next generation standing in the great console war.
On a second note, Revolution will only be $200-299. It's so amazing. I can't get over how small and sleek it is.

plus, the majority of gamers dont buy consoles at their launch price anyways
$399 is as much as I would ever pay for a game console

$499
Your crazy if you think I'm spending more than $500
That's the same answer.
I'd probably spend 300 on a launch system, but I'd have to think long and hard about it. I got cube at launch for 200, Xbox August 02 for 200 and bought my ps2 off a relative for 50 bucks, that's only 150 more than a new system and it netted me all 3.

The last answer "Your crazy if you think I'm spending more than $500" refers to a possibility that I may list $599 as another option.... so... in turn... people would say "Why are you even going up to that number??"
Therefore... it's not the same answer.

499 means I'm not spending more than 500.
and your fourth option means that I'm not spending more than 500.
