Does that orb-like "X" do anything?
It could be the "Xbox Live" button.

The orb must do something, because it has 1,2,3,4 labelled on the corners of it.

I think the orb is a 4 way angles C-stick sort of thing that only goes to the corners...obvously.
Anyways, how do I say this.....it looks too plain. And like ass. For some reason to me, all this does is remind me of the 90's consoles. And I don't know why.

There's too many buttons, I'll have to look at the controller the entire time while my friend Chip tells me what's on the screen. Oh well.

I'm going to be very frustrated if the White and Black buttons are still missing from the final model.

I think the shoulder buttons pretty much replaced them.

The black and white buttons cannot be missing as long as Microsoft lives up with their promise of backwards compatibility.
From the first rumors I heard, they were supposed to be under the controller, by the shoulder buttons.
And Microsoft always does good on their second try with controllers. Bring on the redesign! :D

I still think it looks like something a 3rd party makes
