IGN is going to bomb this game like it does others.

OMFG, no game has EVER achieved a perfect score from Famitsu!
This is likely to be the best game ever made. I'm even willing to bet it will better than Ocarina of Time.
Edit Update: OMFG, I just checked a online retailer and Nintendogs is completley sold out already! For 6 months!

Uh, wrong.
Zelda: OoT, Zelda: WW, Vagrant Story, and Soul Calibur all got perfect scores from them.
This game is pretty funny. So many people are too lazy to take care of their own pets, but they'll go apesh*t crazy over taking care of some virtual thing.

Come to think of it, I think Gamemaster said the exact same thing when Zelda: WW got a perfect score from them... :p
Anywho......... Ok the game may be fun and all, but I have a hard time believing that one of the best games of all time is a 'puppy simulator'... Maybe to the Japanese audience...
That crazy Japanese audience...
The next Pokemon?
Rawr.
Bring on the Animal Crossing!

The next Pokemon?
It's a sad, though, that Pokemon is a great deal deeper than this game

How could TWW get a 40/40 score?
With that said, I wont bet my horses on Puppy Times. :)

Yeah, I don't think it'll do too well by American reviewers because they'll say it's too shallow, that it didn't offer 20 hours of unique gameplay, not structured enough... etc. They can't just let a game be fun unless they know what they have to do to beat the game.

Thats an obviously easy task. Dont let your puppy die. Your puppy dies, game over. No more puppy, no more game. Simple. :p

The puppies don't die. I believe I read something stating that they wouldn't let puppies die in the game... although I could be mistaken.

How could it not?
Why did they change the name to Puppy Times for outside Japan...it's just so, so bad...Nintendogs, I mean it's Nintendo and dogs...what's not to like?

I heard they changed it back to Nintendogs for NA.

"Take Care of your Pooch" would be a catchy name for it.

"The Unedible Pooch" would be another.
As would "The Pooch That Will Save You Thousands In Lawsuit Damages By Not Attacking Your Neighbor's Kids"
