The doughnut is a global favourite - whether it is round, fried or sweet is a matter of local nuance.
doughnut noun 1. A small ring-shaped cake of sweetened or, sometimes, of unsweetened dough fried in deep fat. 2. Physics the toroidal vacuum chamber of a particle accelerator. 3. phrase do a doughnut colloquial to perform a manoeuvre in which a car or a motorcycle is driven in a very tight circle ... usually leaving a circle of burnt rubber. -

Did you notice, as soon as you get out of your car, you can smell them? Like, before you even go into Playland or the PNE it smells like them.

I remember one time me and my friend went JUST for the sole purpose of buying them.

That reminds me, Timbits are effing beautiful too. I didnt think they would be counted, considering they are just donut balls....but I guess. I like them more than normal donuts in some cases, because they are bite-sized. But I havent had donuts for like, 4 months.

Pee Ess, Phil, doesn't Playland open this weekend? Or has it already opened? I say we go down there and buy us some donuts.

Just a memory though... when I did work for Dunkin Donuts the most bought donuts were glazed, french crullers and sour cream. The sour cream ones tended to be ordered by fat old men early in the morning.

Don't really like donuts... some are just too sweet for my taste :(

On the other hand, I absolutely love the Chinese donuts that Happydudette mentioned... Savoury is so much better than sweet :p

Do police officers really possess a stronger desire for donuts that the common man?
