its neat. i like when they start getting things to work on the handhelds. its just the beginning too. :) they're working on Linux for PSP. im sure both DS and PSP will get the NES emulators and other stuff, part of my reasoning for having one is for all the things they can make it do later on.

this will be the one for 'crapping your pants' when it becomes real.

:) cant wait for when they do that.

wow... it seems as if he just put an emulator on his memory stick and was able to play.

theres on going debates on whether its real or not. most likely tho its not. its more likely that someone recorded a vid of the menu screen, then tied it into a vid of the game, and played it on the psp. and sync'd his thumb movments with that of whats going on on the screen.

some say it might be real tho at a early version of an emulator thats being made. I really dont think theres one that works that well YET. i think within the year that will be real tho.

What he's doing actually would be going to games on the memory card from the play games section of the menu and selecting the emulator. once the emulator runs he's running the game list that drops down and selecting a rom.

Real or not tho, it gives you an excellent look at what might be possible soon. :)

Should check out engadget.com

They have a whole PSP hacking contest going on and some of the things people are able to do with it are pretty damn cool. One I saw yesterday had the PSP control every electronic device in one's house.

seen most of that on egadget. most are just little steps at the moment. big mods will come soon enough.

www.psp-linux.org is making Linux to run on the PSP.

While 40 bucks is cheaper than a TI-83... it's still not a bargain (unless you use the TI-83 for your job or something). I can't imagine any test allowing a DS to be used . Even if it is just a TI-83 program. People are paranoid.

TI's dont have a wireless network were you can talk to other classmates during a test. lol

sure its really easy to cheat with a Ti, but you cant actually talk to other people thro it. while it is cool to see, and might even be useful once and a while, i certainly wouldnt pay money for it when i could just get the real calculator

Why pay money for a real calculator when a free one comes bundled in Microsoft and Apple's operating systems? If you have the money, knock yourself out. Otherwise, be sensible.

Why stop there? Conserve money and brain power and don't do it at all!

Nintendo! We won't let you connect your system to the internet but we'll sure let you connect it to your graphing calculator

Hardly free when your buying the whole computer ;) only free one is brainpower as you said. but as i said, its a neat little thing for the DS, but i sure as hell wouldnt pay money for it. :)
