View Full Version : Just When The Al Qaeda and Taliban Thought It Was Safe To Go Outside Again.
Britain deploys 1,700 Royal Marine Commandos to flush the rest of them out. That'll learn them some respect.
We are warned that ...'there will be casualties'... On our side but most will be on theirs no doubt.

Who did Britain have before? SAS?
Anyway, gotta respect those Royal Marines, great soldiers they are.
One thing I forgot to mention, this is Britains largest military deployment since the Gulf War.
We only deploy the SAS when we really wanna kick some arse, quickly and efficiently. They are really for like, infiltrating things and stealth and stuff.

Not sure on the exact numbers. We had our special forces units there since early morning on 9/12. Most of them are gone, except the guys who are working with the natives. Both the 26th and 14th Marine Expeditionary Unit have come and gone. Right now we got our Army 101st Airborne down there. If you really cared, you could look up the sizes of those groups.
And for the record, only 45 Royal Marines are going. The rest of the 1,700 have various jobs, but they are not Royal Marines. Forgot the exact breakup, it's around here somewhere.
Aah whatever, they're still going to kick some arse.
