What kind of names would you like Nintendo to name their Revolution console? Would you like them to keep Revolution or use a new name?
This thread will collect any and all suggestions for names that Nintendo should use.
In my opinion Nintendo Revolution is a good name, and they've got people already saying Ninrev and abbreviating that as their next-gen console.
Ninrev gets my vote:
NINTENDO REVOLUTION

Nintendo hasn't exactly had original names for their systems yet. Well, at least they've had more creativity than Sony and Microsoft.
Sega is where the creativity was at... Master System, Genesis, Saturn, and Dreamcast (go ahead and count 32X and CD if you want, but I see them as "expansions").
Dolphin was cool, but then Nintendo used "GameCube." Ok, Cube is fairly original, except it had bad timing because of "Box" used by Microsoft. Then, the Game has been overused by the several Gameboys.
The next Nintendo will either have a name similar to the next XBox, or it will add a new adjective modifying the name "Nintendo."
Revolution won't work because it'll look ridiculous in four years. If Nintendo does have one revolutionary idea, they'll probably incorperate it with their system.
I think a cool name would be Vagabond (if it was wireless everything)... but wasn't there a system called the Nomad? Oh well.

Ninrev? Never heard anyone call it that.
Personally I like N5. Looks nice. Sounds nice. I'm guessing the name will be based off what makes it so "revolutionary." And then there's the whole Nintendo 21 thing. Going by their last two systems, SP and DS, we might just have two letters following "Nintendo" that people can't fully agree on what they stand for.

Ok, those two quotes aren't in the same context... but it could work!
Nintendo NO!
NO: The beginning of a new and end of and old Nintendo.
Nintendo Gamesphere ... and it better be an actual sphere.
Holy ****e! I'd buy it. And unlike the GC, it could sub as a bowling ball rather than a paper weight.
I'm still waiting for Legend of Zelda :/... and I beat Resident Evil 4 at a friend's house. I love RE4

Bitch please, must have mental disease.
Revolution is cool and all, but it sounds weird to say "Hey, you wanna come over and play some Revolution tonight?" PS2, GameCube (or as we cool kids call it, "Cube"), and XBox all are nice and short to say. They need something like that.
