I'm against it. You can't domesticate an animal and then allow people to hunt it. I don't like hunting in general.

I was listening to Howard Stern this morning and heard about this.

I believe they are allowing the hunters to hunt Feral cats like Lynx and wild cats. Not pets obviously.

All in all though, it's a hard image to overcome, I like kitties...

If anyone would like dead cats I would be willing to ship them to you if you pay for shipping and handling.

Those animals are killed, not hunted. Turkeys might be hunted, but only wild ones.

Bio-industry is even worse than hunting, because the animals there had no real life, no chance of escaping etc. :distress:

Wild Turkey is definetely my favorite....

Oh, cat hunting is cool. It would probably be fun as long as you didn't show fear.

Being a meat eater and also being against hunting makes no sense. Ask yourselves this question:

If you had the choice, would you rather be a deer in the wild with a 80-90% chance you'd live a full life? Or a cow in a pen being fed hormones, being genetically manipulated and with 100% chance you were going to take a bolt-gun to the dome?

The fact is that the animals that we hunt are acclimated to being hunted. Their breeding and lifecycle require them to be hunted to keep the herd genetically healthy and well fed.

Now given the choice would I like to be hunted? No, but then again I'm an intelligent being that could find ways to fight back or at least avoid capture, and not just a dumb animal that runs into buick grills because I get mesmerized by headlights. (the moral is "humanizing animals is rediculous")

Now I'm going to make me some baby back ribs and wash it down with a veal shake.

Did anyone notice that those cats still had their fur on? Yuck! Now, while I am a vegaterian, I honestly don't see the difference... I mean, obviously don't hunt pets, but every day hundreds of cats and dogs are put to sleep in animal shelters because they have no homes... I don't understand what makes these animals any better or worse than say, their more intellegent pig counterparts and the like.

You actually thought that poorly photoshopped picture was real?
