Who are the forgotten heroes? The People like Stanislav Petrov (http://www.mosnews.com/feature/2004/05/21/petrov.shtml) who are even less than a footnote in History books.

Great thread. The way you question us makes you a great reporter. Keep it up and I'll be putting in a good word for you with the boys who run this joint. :)

It was an interesting article and they're right, I'd never heard about him or his important decision until now. I'm glad he's finally getting the recognition and money he deserves. It makes it even more heart-warming that the award is coming from a U.S. association.
