Much to the delight of the GameTavern staff, a core piece of our prank has caused a certain amount of confusion, controversy, and chaos. Since then, some rumors have spread and some threads have been made attacking Dyne for unfair treatement and bias toward members of GameTavern.
To add a spicy twist to our 1984 totalitarian theme, the GameTavern staff created a fictional Staff Forum which contained jestful threads. Members who were banned by Big Brother were given "accidental access" to this forum where they saw suggestive posts containing saucy comments, pretend plans, and fictional conversations among the staff.
The April Fool Staff Forum was merely a clever joke and all comments viewed within it were 100% fictional and do not represent the actual thoughts or opinions of any of the GT staff members. GameTavern is built on a foundation of fairness and run by people of solid principles.
We hope in the aftermath of our pranks, that you get just as much joy and laughter as we did.
