Until late summer.
Apperantly they couldn't get enough units ready for a spring release. This gives DS the same headstart as it had in America.
Just thought I'd tell you what's going on in the continent of origin. :)

No, they didn't postpone it for the lack of units. They are giving North America the extra units to expell any sell outs or shortages. They didn't want to ship to NA and EU and have shortages, so they are releasing a surplus of units to NA to offset any shortages, and then they will ship to EU more units than planned in the summer release.

That's what I said. :stupid:
You just added the part about America, but it doesn't change what I said. :p

You said they couldn't get enough units ready...
they have more than enough, they want to ship them all to NA instead of splitting them up.

Well, they don't have enough units for both the US and EU? Then I'm right. :p
They need them for Nort America so they don't have any for Europe..
Anyway, doesn't matter, I forgive you.

They do... but they postponed so they'd have more for the U.S. and more for EU at each respectable launch date.

Well, all that matters now is that Sony will have a good supply of PSPs for North America.
Europe can enjoy the DS while Sony prepares another batch of PSPs.
