:unsure: these shots dont look as though they're going to go very far in supporting my point that the GB game is not kiddy, in fact these shots 'kiddy' the game up that little bit more and the guy you play as looks like a gay little sailor boy. He looks like he's skipping across that puddle.

But hey, WOOOOO new pokemon, and it's out by the end of this year in Japan and America........ :unsure: no news on a European launch though.

Cool, 100 new pokémon, lets hope they finally make evolutions for pokémon such as Kengaskhan and Snorlax.

YEAH! New Pokemon! Great news, but I expected that the graphics would be alot better, not just really similar to Pokemon Gold/Silver. Hopefully Nintendo can pretty this game up, but if not, we'll still have a kick ass game to play.

Yeah, these special effects are pretty cool. And look at this picture, I do not think that many people noticed, but there are ripples in the water from where the hero was walking.

i actually think that those graphics are somewhat dissapointing. yes, there are reflections, footprints, splashes, and shadows, but they could have done more. don't get me wrong, i'm still getting it. i'm just slightly dissapointed.

An expert trainer would never even think to use rare candy. Sure your levels go up but your pokemon's stats would be crap compared to a properly raised one. Lower than that of a wild pokemon even. Could never get the max out of your pokemon.

Yeah I agree, + the max experience they are surposed to reach is 1,000,000 Rare candy makes this number higher so you know they cheated. I usually sell Rare Candy when I play properly.

On the rare occasion that my mons reach level 100 naturally I then give them as many Carbos, Iron etc as they can have to get them to their MAX Stats. (Kengaskhan and Dragonite, none have ever defeated them.)

I got sick of Poekmon when I almost got an entire team up to level 100 in silver. Then someone jacked my Game Boy Color. From that moment on, I was fed up with Pokemon. Who would want to do that all over again? I lost all of my Red version AND silver version monsters...

When did I say i use Rare Candy? Ric said that once but he was joking and I said to him, "Ric, shame on you," in a joking manner but I never use rare candy. I would not be your typical opponet, I'm confident that I could probably beat you but let's stay on good terms and assume that we're both probably on the same level (no pun intended) :D

For the purpose of comparison here is a screenshot from Pokemon Gold. It is from an emulator so may have lost a little detail (eg. the water)

When looking at this you can appreciate just how different the GBA version actually looks.
