back in the days of Nintendodolphin.net and nintendose.com there was a site called "nintendonation.com" now they either changed their name to, or from that name, but I dont remember what it was before/after

and there was another site that was blue and black with "bubbles" all down the side, and I dont remember what that one was called (it had a - in the name)

help me remember for some plus rep, dubloons

NintendoNation changed to NintendoNext and then to ChasingRadium.

Headed by the world famous Canadian NNDon.

Not sure about the bubble site. NintendoDolphin.com? Or was that just all black?

Nintendose split up into AGB and Gametavern....I never really contributed to Ndose, but I knew of it. Then, I hung out at AGB for a while. AGB is down now, Jordan aka Goombastomper hasn't done crap on the site for a while, and the other person in charge Vincent, aka Spacemanspiff, was an asshole.

I dunno, I know ghettodude came from Ndose. AJ too....

Xantar of course, bluefire used to post on AGB I believe, Vin, and a few others.

Moral of the story is, after you have a community for 5+ years, people tend to wander. Oh well. A reunion would be cool, if half the people that used to post could be reached.

Last time we discussed a reunion, the guys of AGB didn't like it. :( But that was like 3 years ago.... blast we've been here for a long time..

Ahahaha, yeah, we AGBer's are a stuck up bunch. They managed to keep me from Gametavern for about 5 months, hehe.

AGB is dead though, like I said. Everyone moved off to a different forum, and the majority of the people that would object to a reunion are gone. I say majority because some still exist.....truth be told, AGB was dead for about a year before it was officially dead, so yeah. *shrugs*

The internet is a sad place. I miss the days prior to the release of the GBA. Those days were sweet.

course he did introduce me to coranto/newspro, and became my savior...

but yeah, Vince was always an ass... I have his phone number if anyone wants it....

I remember most of this hubbub from back in the day. I had a decent amount of posts from Nintendose, 600 or so maybe, but that's also when I averaged 1 or 2 posts a day... I did end up posting at AGB for a bit, probably only 100 posts or so there and would visit occasionally. I've been pleased/surprised that I've stuck around for almost 5 years now.

That's a big loss. That guy got me hooked on the internet. I'd probably be a much different person if it wasn't for him.

Yes, Y2Kev, as idiotic as he was, made life interesting.

However, one of the best things I remember from Nintendose, were the faboo threads.

Man, manupetit was an asshole. I had his AIM for a while, and we started talking a bit. He was a crazy drunkard. Naturally, back when I was in my prime, making 45 posts a day, I got threatened by the admins a lot. And, yeah......

Ha...I remember getting into some arguments with E_Petit 17 back in the day, and that's when I was more soft spoken, so you know he must have pissed me off...Then I also had some good talks with him...overall he was a bastard though.

Oh yeah, and the good 'ol legacy of Shooter/Revival. Some classic moments came from that young man from New Hampshire.

After NDose closed down, I went to AGB first. Then someone invited me here and so I came here and got hooked on this place more than the other. heh. A lot of us have been here since Jan 2001. That's nuts.
