I was just watching Oprah (yes, I watch her on occasion) and she just got her ears pierced for the first time. She just turned 51 and was always afraid to get her ears pierced, but she just did it on live national television. She was terrified, but she got through it.

Is there anything you have always been afraid to do, that you may do some time as a "big deal" kind of thing?

I'd like to learn how to ride a motorcycle but I'm afraid of getting into a fatal accident.

Hm, no, not anymore. The past year has been a very drastic change for me so a lot of my fears have been neutralized. I feel like I could do anything - I have a lot of libido now. Of course, I'm using discretion. No drugs, no piercings, nothing of that nature.

A tattoo, however, is something my parents would have to take some time to accept. :D

Well I'd hate to get an operation. I'll need one soon, to remove my wisdom teeth (is that what they are called?). :(

Yeah, I'm in the pipeline for a wisdom teeth removal soon, too.

On 18th birthday, my buddies and I will all go sky diving, just like my brother and his friends will.

I havent been kicked in the nuts in a while...maybe it's time to see if I should still be afraid.

My sister kicked my brother there. I bet it hurt.

There's the understatement of the year. It doesn't just hurt. It HURTS.

Damn rights. We'll do it one day. Randomly. Spontaneously.

I don't know what I want to do...I know I want tattoos, I want piercings...theres nothing I really want alot of.

I know If I got a toattoo, it wouldnt be something super huge, but more like something that means something to me, I dont know.

And the piercings would be, Eyebrow, Lip, and Nipple.

I've had tons of operatiosn on me before...so I cant say that...Lots of accidents...I've taken some pretty randomly stupid risks.

But Umm, I'll say Tattoos, Piercings, and going to A Rave, because I think im being "forced" to go to one in a few weeks.

I'm calling you out on Oprah just turning 51.

I'm pretty sure she's still 50 ;)

but you could be right, i'm not the most avid fan ever.

edit: **** i'm wrong.

I've still never asked a girl out in real life, because I'm a *****. So, that's one thing I'd like to do for real...

I know you've already said you were wrong, but why would I have said that she had said she was 51 if she didn't actually say it? I mean... it was the whole theme of the show.

and Germ, you haven't asked in real life? but you have asked...?

Yeah, I've pretty much asked a girl out over the internet (kind of?) And, she did say yes, and we went out for a while, but it wasn't quite right...

Whatever gets the job done.

Something that I've been afraid to do? Ooooh, performing. I've got a bit of a stage fright, but I'd like to perform.

Funny...Because I've performed in a band for over 200 live shows (at least?), and I've never had a problem with it, and you have a long-term girlfriend, which I've always had a problem with... Different strokes for different folks I guess,

I can't think of anything that i've been afraid to do, and would like to do.

I've always been afraid of the thought of bungee jumping, and i don't plan on ever doing it.

I'm planning on skydiving as soon as I can get some more money.

I'm thinking it'll be fun.

I have a fear of snakes. And I don't like touching them.(except the big ones, they're more like teddy bears)

An interesting point. However, I'm past the intial asking out, and that's the difficult part. It wasn't easy for me at the time. As for being in a relationship? No fear of commitment; that's what made the first step possible.

Yeah, well, I guess I'm not afraid of the relationship part, that is in fact what I really really want...It is the first step that I need to get over.

Relationships can be lots of fun. That first step is definately scary ( i have had lots of trouble with it)

As for skydiving, that is probably one of mine too. I like the idea but I am too scared of possible malfunctions. Hang-gliding could be really fun.

I am definately going to learn to fly a plane. Maybe when I get to mid-life crisis stage.

Tattoo...not afraid of getting one...afraid I won't want it anymore after a while...plus don't have the coin for one.

Piercing...got elf ears...not sure if getting them pierced would be good idea...dunno about anywhere else. Plus after watching the Punisher...

Wear rings/necklaces. Dad's friend lost his finger jumping over a tall fence while wearing a ring. Figure could strangle myself that way too. Suppose I could just not jump fences...eh.

Gonna need to get my wisdom teeth removed soon too. Haven't had any surgery before...though for my teeth I'm not too worried.

Get my driver's license. No time to take driver's ed. Parents are afraid to let me practice on their car after I tried once. Drove my friend's car around China Town one time...super populated...didn't almost kill too many people...

Hard drugs. Afraid I'd get addicted or permanently ruin my brain. All those stories of people going insane from taking LSD without realizing they had.

And kinda in germ's situation with asking girls out directly without slipping notes, the internet, stalking (i kid) etc.
