Click Here (http://www.skeptictank.org/hs/vanish.htm) to find out how.

Here's the summary:

~ Discard your old life.
~ Limit the resolve and resources of your opposition.
~ Run from your opposition (and your old life.)
~ Hide from your opposition.
~ Make new friends.
~ Acquire a new identity. (Legal papers: Birth record, Social Security #)
~ Find gainful employment.
~ Pay your taxes.
~ Get medical, life, and automotive insurance.
~ Get a credit card -- and keep it paid up.
~ Perhaps take college courses to learn a new marketable skill.
~ Acquire and maintain respectability in your community.
~ Find a wife or husband: Make a new family.
~ Don't drink heavily, don't use any illegal drugs, don't do any crimes.
~ Die with dignity.

Would you ever consider doing this?

It seems complicated and kind of scary. This guide helps you through it though and even makes me kind of eager to try it.

Tempting but unless it was 100% flawless, I doubt I'd do it.

I don't think I'd ever feel I'd need to do this. But, I would enjoy pulling it off if I felt my life was in the crapper.

I numbered them so I can answer a question I set myself while reading the origional post. 'If I could change my life, disappear, would I do those things.'
Here goes:
1. -
2. -
3. -
4. - You have to do these first 4 in order to properly disappear.
5. Of course... helps to build your new life.
6. Always a good idea but not if you want to also avoid question 8.
7. You would have to have a job to get cash to eat food to live. But not if you were already loaded before you decided to 'disappear'
8. If you have assumed a new identity that you stick to and use all the time mabey but if you are disappearing then why the hell would you want to pay tax.
9. Depends what country you are in but yes it would be good to have fake documentation so you can drive or go to the hospital should you bust your leg or get shot or something else equally as nasty.
10. NO... NEVER EVER EVER EVER! get a credit card. They are evil, they are a con by banks to get you in debt by letting you spend money that is not yours. But if you are loaded you could coz it wont matter so much then.
11. Always a good idea to do this all the time anyway.
12. Hey, why not?
13. Or just plain make a family anyway, you dont necessecerily have to have already been married etc before 'disappearing' do you?
14. Why the hell would I have to take those morals if I disappeared? I could and would still drink and smoke pot if I wanted to. Hell I might even rob a bank before I assume my new identity so I can set myself up.
15. Everyone can die in dignity in their own eyes. Depends how you difine it.
