Nice find, +rep
I went there when they had the 50% off, I guess they are trying to milk as much money out of the remaining stuff they still have. I love it when big businesses go out of business.
The only problem is the selection is pretty shi|tty. It's a hit or miss deal.
I'm going to go tomorrow and hope for the best.

Toys R Us is going out of business?
Last time I checked they were partnered up with Amazon.
I hope they sell Star Fox Assault for $3. And the new Zelda game for $4.50

Technically, they aren't "going out of business."
They are just ending their toy line. They would have gone out of business had they not spread their legs to a bigger company.

Wait wait wait.....
Toys R us?
Or KB Toys?
I'm pretty damn sure TRU is NOT going out of buisness.
I know for a fact KB toys is.

I heard from a friend about 6 months ago that TRU was showing signs of going out of business because his sister could get games for very cheap (being that she worked there). I was surprised then. Not surprised now.
I also was surprised when Toys R Us started releasing commercials again and joined up with Amazon. Thought maybe I was missinformed...

Are you sure it is that they are "going out of business" or "ending their toy line"?
I don't see any signs of them going out of business. but if they ended their toy line like Killer Gremlin said, they would be out of business, because that's all they are.

I had heard awhile ago that KB toys was struggling... They closed about 300 or so of their stores...
It turns out both KB and Toys r us are struggling...
As for them being just toys.... Kids r us and Babies r us... Those aren't toys...
I dunno if all the TRU stores are going out of business, or if it's like KB did awhile ago where they closed a chunk of their stores...

So, where would people buy their toys if not at KB Toys or Toys R Us? That doesn't make sense that they would be going out of business. But, I haven't really been paying attention to the toy business.
Stupid WalMart, killing all the little companies!

My point was that people identify the name "" R Us with toys. You think of that company and the first thing that comes to your mind is "toy store" so if there were no more Toys R Us, the stores would suffer.

Like Rainman says: "Toys 'R Us sucks!"
I hope they do the same in Holland... even though they never had much stuff... they're supposed to be some very large toy store... but they have like 100 units of the same type... instead of 2 units of 50 types. :(
What I mean is... not broad selection, just a lot of copies.

Toys R Us is not going out of business. I have been working for them for over a year and I can assure you that this discount process has been going on for some time. They do it to bring in customers and to clean out inventory they don't want anymore. They do however plan to restructure their brand by separating Toys R US operations from Babies R Us which is booming at the time being.
On the other hand, KB Toys most definitely is going out of business. At least where I live.

Ditto for OKC. The KB in the mall closed a few months ago and was replaced by another toystore that carries some of those toys that aren't at the top of pop culture.
The more "traditional" toys. I thought it was ironic.

Babies R Us which is booming at the time being.Sounds too much like "all your babies are belong to us" to me. :( :D
