I'm putting the suggestion in here....as you all know. hehe


anyway, I don't know this forum's history with yahoo pool but we've held a few tournaments at agb and it proved to be quite fun.

It's simple and super. Anyway, this is just a suggestion....your thoughts?

I suck though, oh well. We should get Sean, if I recall, he was the champ.

I'm up for a pool contest. We can use doubloons as the entry fee and then the winner takes it all home.

Fun game. However theres way too many cheats for it. and all are undectectable. :( i downloaded one to see how it worked once. and now if i play at yahoo against people. its really really easy to tell whos using it, (unless they try and hide it, which most dont) draws a line telling you where the ball is going to go. i could hit 4 rails and sink a ball perfectly when i tried it out.


Are there any other pool places besides yahoo's?

I think a pool tourney with a doubloon entry fee would be really cool. Count me in.

And, if the cheating was really obvious, then we could spot it, you think? Perhaps another, less hackable venue for pool?

well all the cheat does is tell you were the ball is going, and then tells you where the ball you hit is going, and so on and so on depending on what your aiming at.

so really you cannot tell unless they're trying to showoff. However, one of the things i find that if someone is slaming in every shot with full power. it usually means they are POSITIVE that ball is going in. which majority of the time means they're using the cheat.

I would love to participate, and I think having some doubloons on the line would make it even more fun. Perhaps we could even have people make bets on who they think will win in the vBookie system?

Just as long as it's fair. :mad:

As soon as Seth sets a date and creates a roster, I'll set up a vBookie component. We'll need to decide on how much the admission fee should be.
