Wow. Just wow. The trailer doesn't come close to how good this movie is. Blows Shaolin Soccer away. Import it, download it, wait till it's released here in March...just watch it.

It's a good movie but not as great as Shaolin Soccer. It'll be even better if you can get your hands on some of Stephen Chow's earlier movies. Some are downright lame but there are a few hidden gems.

Never did see Shaolin Soccer with subtitles. Had my friend do a half-assed job of translating it while we were watching.

The thing about his movies though, it is an advantage if you know the Chinese language. The funniest bits in his movies are those where he cracks jokes (mostly lewd ones...lol) and when translated into English, they just don't sound as good.

this is a must see for stephen chow fans...i think i mentioned it b4...
i watched it with my parents at the movies a month ago...and till this day my dad still snickers when he c's anything that vaguely reminds him of the movie....its a good laugh...but definitely not for someone whos expecting a traditional kung fu movie wiht all the realistic moves.....lotsa special effects on this one...stephen chow over exaggerates all the funny stuff...its good

It's effects are all very 'Matrixy'. I suppose that and the comedy that ensues are the reasons to see these movies. I remember watching the Shaolin Soccer preview also. I still need to rent it.
