All of a sudden, ive been getting these strange errors in hotmail. Ive talked to a few people, and it seems im the only one who gets them. I dont get them all the time, but a helluva lot of the time lately. Here is the message I get when I navigate to www.hotmail.com

Server Error in '/' Application.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Runtime Error
Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine.

Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a <customErrors> tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This <customErrors> tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off".

<!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->

<configuration>
<system.web>
<customErrors mode="Off"/>
</system.web>
</configuration>

Notes: The current error page you are seeing can be replaced by a custom error page by modifying the "defaultRedirect" attribute of the application's <customErrors> configuration tag to point to a custom error page URL.

<!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->

<configuration>
<system.web>
<customErrors mode="RemoteOnly" defaultRedirect="mycustompage.htm"/>
</system.web>
</configuration>

Put the clip into the gun, cock it, and slowly raise it to your cranium......

Seriously though....I have no clue.

Oh well, this was a good way to make a useless non-helpful post.

i have an idea. What web browser are you using?

Affirmative. Check which webbrowser you are using. I think it may only be compatible for certain applications through IE (which sucks) or maybe Mozilla, but I don't know.

im thinkin more of an error with the program. somtimes programs get glitches and can be fixed by reinstalling. or switching to a different browser.

perhaps IE has cought some spyware and isnt workin quite right for the site.

well. before going to the trouble of reinstalling IE, why not just use firefox for a while. see if it happens on that. if it doesnt, then try and so something about IE.

*sighs* I think im gonna wait awhile longer and see what it does. Hotmail is working fine tonight. And it seems like I can ALWAYS get there by going to MSN first.

Strangely enough, I still got the error when I searched for it in Yahoo than clicked the link. This one really has me stumped.
