EA Sports Fight Night Round 2 Packs the Ultimate Punch with the Inclusion of the Classic Nintendo Boxing Video Game, Super Punch-Out!!

REDWOOD CITY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 25, 2005--Electronic Arts (Nasdaq:ERTS - News) and Nintendo announced today that the popular boxing title, Super Punch-Out!!(TM) for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, will be included exclusively in the Nintendo GameCube(TM) version of EA SPORTS(TM) Fight Night Round 2. Shipping on March 1, 2005 under the EA SPORTS(TM) brand, the newest addition in the award-winning EA SPORTS Fight Night series is making its debut on the Nintendo GameCube bundled with an added bonus only available for Nintendo GameCube fans.

Yeah I just read that - pretty cool IMO. I wanted another punch-out but this may do for the time being.

Stupid EA. I wonder if my co-op with them will entail anything to do with Nintendo. :D

neat little video on it.

if it wasnt for online play which makes this game much much better, then i'd get the nintendo version. However, online is too important and its prolly not too hard to make him in create boxer mode anyway.
