IGNPS2 just had an article named "Off the Record" and it released some information about Sony and things... Here is the quick outline of things that I think are important.
Sony's Ratchet and Bolts?
The new word from Sony's internal development camp is that it's in the works with another new platform-style game that goes by the name Ratchet and Bolts. The game was recently shown at a retailer trade show and it's quite charming, we hear.
PS3 Speeds
Sony has already said that PS3 will be 1,000 times as powerful as the PS2. Woah. This fact has become even more real since IBM, which is working with Sony and Toshiba on the PS3 processor called the "Cell," announced in New Scientist magazine that they've created a processor clocked at 110 Ghz. Now think about the PS2, with its 300 Mhz Emotion Engine. Sounds too good to be true.
GT4 Will Blow Your Mind
A recent flurry of Japanese Websites have been talking up the first snippet of Gran Turismo 4. The sites have posted that GT4 was shown behind some very closed doors and that the game absolutely blew the onlookers minds. It looks stunning, and it's definitely, definitely online.
 1000 times more powerful that PS2??? That is crazy!
